I launched my website!

I have finally launched my website!

It was a while ago, I wrote to this blog. Mainly because I wanted to finish the website I have been building and launch it. I did manage to do it and I have been able to keep updating it It has been open now three weeks.

So my website address is thenordicflyer.com. My area is cheap flights in the Nordics, Frequent Flyer tips/tricks and Airline news.

I have this passion for flying and partly collecting airlines for over ten years. Maybe first few years purpose of collecting miles wasn't the main point, but it was just a nice plus. Around 2013 this hobby kind of sky rocketed as I had one colleague who has very interested collecting miles and earning status with his chosen airline.

After that I have been traveling quite a lot just to earn only miles. However, COVID-19 and getting kids kind of started downhill on this hobby. However, getting kids during COVID-19 also help me to maintain my status as airlines kind of froze their programs. And in last two years I have been able to keep doing my hobby. However, the trips are even shorter than before.

So in the past I have also spent time on looking flight prices a lot as I found it very interesting. I do not know why I didn't start my website about flight prices earlier.

In the next post I will write more about the challenges I have faced after the launch of website.
